About Dianne Zaccheo

Having graduated from Boston University, with a masters degree in Social Work, (MSW LCSW), I completed a three year graduate program at the Kantor Family Institute as a Family Therapist. Here I began specialising in families where Neurodiversity existed.

I am an internationally recognised expert in the field of neurological disorders. I have been in private practice for 30 years – exclusively focused on the Neurodiverse population. Providing families and individuals of all ages a range of therapies related to ADHD, Autism, Aspergers, Learning difficulties and Behavioural problems..

Training I have completed

In order to meet the multi-disciplinary demands of neurologically impaired populations, I trained in CBT, Art Therapy, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Substance Misuse and Addiction, EFT and EMDR. This has enabled me to offer a more rounded programme of assistance.

Training I have delivered

I also train teachers. My courses are accredited as CPD training courses at the School of Education at the University of Leicester. ‘The course is titled, The Integration of Coaching Practices for Educators in the Classroom.’

I have developed online training for better understanding of ADHD and Neurodiversity as well as a Parent Education program for people with children on the Autistic Spectrum.

I have traveled across 13 European countries, delivering my patented model of training for parents, professionals, educators, clinicians, and community service providers.

Employment

I have worked as a Behavioural Specialist, Trainer, and Consultant for Priory Special Education for over 20 years helping them to set up 38 Special Education programs in various private schools settings for children and adults with disabilities.

Currently I am the Clinical Director for Autism Somerset – a charity that raises awareness of Autism. It provides information and best practice training for both organisations and the public on the topic of Autism.

I am an independent Family Therapist, offering private therapy and coaching.
